Schedule for the 2025 DI Men’s Golf Championships
Championship Format
To determine the 30 teams and six individuals (not part of those teams) that will progress to the finals, six regional tournaments will be held, each comprising 54 holes. Three regionals will feature 13 teams along with 10 individuals (not from those teams), while the other three will include 14 teams and five individuals (not from those teams). The lowest five teams and one individual not part of these teams will advance to the finals.
All qualifying teams and individuals will participate in 54 holes of stroke play. After this, the top 15 teams and the nine best individuals not associated with an advancing team will compete in an additional day of stroke play to select the eight teams for match play, along with determining the individual champion over 72 holes. The top eight teams will then be bracketed for the match play stage.
During the team match play, five points will be available, with one point awarded for every individual match. Teams that accumulate three points will move on to the semi-finals and then to the finals, where the first team to win three points will be crowned national champion.
