About CR Today
CR Today is a daily news outlet covering finance, cryptocurrency, technology, motorsport and Formula 1, entertainment, and ten distinct sports verticals. We publish through an automated editorial workflow built and supervised by a human editor, with every article paired to authoritative external sources for independent verification.
Our mission
To bring readers the news that matters across many subjects, on the same day it happens, with transparent sourcing they can verify themselves.
Editorial standards
- Accuracy first — every fact-bearing claim is paired with an external link to a high-authority source (Reuters, Bloomberg, ESPN, BBC, primary regulatory sites). If we cannot source it, we do not publish it.
- Independence — advertisers and affiliates do not influence which sources we link to. The whitelist is curated by the editor, not the AI.
- Transparency — we disclose our automated workflow and the role of AI tools. See our AI Usage Policy.
- Accountability — corrections are taken seriously, documented openly, and turned around within 2 business days. See our Corrections Policy.
Editorial team

How we work — the editorial pipeline
Every article on CR Today goes through five stages:
- Story discovery — automated ingestion of newsworthy events from publicly reported source articles.
- Draft generation — AI-assisted draft composition (OpenAI GPT family), within editorial rules defined by the editor.
- Title optimization — each title is rewritten to match real Google search-intent keywords sourced from DataForSEO, gated by length, banned-phrase, and named-entity-preservation rules.
- Source attachment — every article is paired with three external links to authoritative domains from a category-keyed whitelist. Each link is validated with an HTTP probe before insertion.
- Publishing & structured data — articles are published with Schema.org JSON-LD (NewsArticle with editor reference, NewsMediaOrganization with policy URLs, VideoObject for embedded video, citation array linking the authority sources).
