As we enter 2026, we’re thrilled to provide updates on what to expect in Borderlands 4 over the coming months.
This year, alongside significant content releases, we’re also enhancing the base game, incorporating community suggestions. Key features include cross-save functionality and shared progress across accounts for various elements such as SDUs, map advancement, and activities.
We recognize the demand for more endgame content and are working on additional activities like a new Raid Boss and a Takedown, among others.
We’re also dedicating efforts to elevate performance and stability to ensure you enjoy seamless gameplay.
Our initial Major Update of the year is now available, introducing the much-anticipated Photo Mode, along with various balance adjustments aimed at enhancing your experience in Kairos. For further details, check our Borderlands 4 Photo Mode guide as well as the complete Update Notes. Continue reading for insights on what’s ahead in the coming months.
Upcoming Bounty Pack 2 and Story Pack 1
In the next couple of months, look forward to two premium content updates for Borderlands 4, expanding upon the storyline thus far. In February, players can explore our second Bounty Pack, Legend of the Stone Demon, followed by our debut Story Pack, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, in March.
Legend of the Stone Demon introduces a new mission, Legendary loot, and a themed Vault Card that includes 24 cosmetics and 4 gameplay-unlocked gear pieces. While Bounty Pack 1: How Rush Saved Mercenary Day is complimentary for everyone, Bounty Pack 2 will be the first paid content for Borderlands 4.
