At just 19 years old, McElroy ranks second in USA Boxing’s elite division for the 143-pound weight class. Currently, he is competing in the 2025 USA Boxing National Open in Tulsa, Oklahoma, having stepped up to the intense 154-pound division. He won his first match on Tuesday and is gearing up for his next bout on September 17 at 4 p.m.
