Apple Releases Updated iOS 26 Beta for Developers
Today, Apple issued a revised version of the first iOS 26 beta for developer testing. Although specific updates in this version remain unclear, it might rectify a few critical bugs. This updated beta is exclusively available for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 models. Users with an iPhone 14 or earlier will not have access to this beta version.
Registered developers can obtain the new beta software through the Settings app on their devices.
New Features and Design in iOS 26
iOS 26 incorporates all the features showcased during Apple’s keynote event earlier this week. The introduction of the Liquid Glass design can be observed throughout the new operating system and other software updates from Apple.
In addition to a modernized design, iOS 26 introduces numerous enhancements across various applications, including Messages, Phone, Safari, Music, Photos, Camera, and several others.
Public Beta and Release Timeline
This beta version is currently available only to developers, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the new features and adapt their applications accordingly. A public beta will be accessible to testers in July. The official public launch for iOS 26, along with iPadOS 26, macOS 26, tvOS 26, watchOS 26, and visionOS 26, is anticipated in September.
