Celine Dion Announces Concert Season in Paris
Celine Dion has officially announced a five-week concert season at the Paris La Défense Arena, which holds 40,000 people. This exciting news was shared through an emotional video message displayed at the Eiffel Tower to coincide with her birthday.
In her heartfelt message, Dion expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from her fans: “Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love. You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe, and I’m truly fortunate to have your support,” she stated.
Dion also added, “This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life… I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September! I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously a little nervous, but most of all, I’m grateful to all of YOU! I love you all and I’ll see you soon!”
The concert program will showcase a selection of Dion’s most popular hits in both French and English, with creative direction by the acclaimed designer Willo Perron.
Pre-sale for tickets will start on April 7 at 10:00 CEST, and fans can register on celinedion.com until April 2 at 7 PM CEST. General tickets are set to go on sale on April 10 at 10:00 CEST.
The announcement was initially made at an exclusive event held at Café de l’Homme at the Palais du Chaillot, where guests also had the opportunity to watch the Eiffel Tower light show that accompanied the news.
The Paris concert season is particularly significant as it marks Dion’s return to the stage following the hiatus from her Courage World Tour, which was interrupted in 2020 due to the pandemic and later her health issues. Fans eagerly await her performances, which promise to be memorable.
