The NBA season is now nearly two months in, showcasing numerous star players posting remarkable stats.
Nikola Jokic increased his triple-double count on Monday with 39 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists in an overtime victory against Houston, marking his 12th triple-double this season and the 176th of his career, putting him just five behind Oscar Robertson for second all-time.
Alperen Sengun also shone with a triple-double of his own, scoring 33 points, while the Rockets continue to struggle in clutch situations, suffering six of their seven losses in tight games.
Keyonte George is making strides in Year 3
The third-year player has accelerated his performance this season, with a significant uptick in free throw attempts. He currently ranks seventh in this category, following well-known players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luka Doncic. Over his last 13 games, George has hit the 30-point threshold five times, including impressive back-to-back outings of 39 and 37 points. Recently, he scored 37 points against Dallas while averaging 7.1 free throw attempts per game, converting 89.1% of those attempts.
Cooper Flagg‘s scoring is historic
Paul George is regaining form
George has played at least 30 minutes in four consecutive games for the first time this season, indicating a positive trend in his health and role. He has scored 20+ points in three of those games, with a standout 35-point game against the Hawks, hitting seven three-pointers. Averaging 20.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in this span, George’s performance is steadily improving, making him increasingly valuable for fantasy managers.
As the trade deadline approaches, the Kings are considering trading veteran players as their season struggles. Despite this, Russell Westbrook is enjoying a revival, averaging 13.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 9.0 assists over his last 10 games. Though he remains inefficient, ranking fifth in Player Rater recently, fantasy managers should keep an eye on him as he seems to retain top-40 upside.
