The 2025 Fall Update launches on August 5 with the ONI-themed Operation: Shadows.
As the first phase of the Fall Update, Operation: Shadows introduces significant game updates, including a new vehicle, a fresh weapon, two limited-time playlists, exciting sandbox changes, Forge enhancements, and a Premium Operation Pass featuring four complete armor sets!

UPDATE SCHEDULE
Players familiar with the Winter, Spring, or Summer Updates will recognize the format of Halo Infinite’s Fall Update. From now until November, players will embark on three new Operations filled with fresh armor sets, new modes, and countless heroic escapades.
The first Operation of the season, Operation: Shadows, will debut major game updates, including a new vehicle and weapon, alongside the most extensive premium customization track yet.

NEW VEHICLE: FALCON
Get ready for the Falcon’s return to the skies! Equipped with a port-side grenade launcher and a heavy gun, this versatile aerial vehicle excels in direct combat and troop deployments alike.
With space for five UNSC personnel, the Falcon is perfect for aerial missions with your Spartan team. Explore Famished Famished Falcons to take the Falcon on an unforgettable journey. This vehicle will also appear on select BTB maps and can be used in Forge.
NEW WEAPON: VESTIGE CARBINE
This newly discovered weapon from the Covenant’s Third Age is back, firing green projectiles with pinpoint accuracy. Wield the Vestige Carbine in Banished Slayer, where teams clash with either UNSC or Banished weaponry for supremacy.
OPERATION PASS OUTLINE
Operation: Shadows features both a free 20-tier Operation Pass and a 50-tier Premium Operation Pass that includes four complete armor sets. The free pass is available from August 5 to September 9.
The Premium Pass grants access to a durable reward track with instant customizations and bonus XP. It includes not only the Whisper armor set but also the Direwolf, Fire Serpent, and Aristos armor sets.
UPCOMING PLAYLISTS
Operation: Shadows will launch with two limited-time playlists that highlight the Falcon and the Vestige Carbine. Details will be revealed in the launch announcement, but expect exciting new gameplay!
FAMISHED FAMISHED FALCONS
In this chaotic CTF mode, players will pilot their Falcons while capturing flags and working as a team to evade enemy fire.
BANISHED SLAYER
In this asymmetrical Slayer variant, two teams will battle equipped with their respective weapons, showcasing the new Vestige Carbine among others.
