Main Event Report
As the green flag waved, Overton swiftly took the lead before reaching turn one. Harris, however, found momentum off turn two and soon overtook Overton for the lead.
With 49 laps remaining, Mike Whitener seized second place. Two laps later, Whitener made a daring move to take the lead from Harris, who briefly reclaimed the spot before Whitener slid into the lead again.
O’Neal moved into second place as the race progressed. With 37 laps left, Whitener grazed the wall, allowing O’Neal to close the gap significantly.
A caution was called when a car spun out with 33 laps to go. Once racing resumed, Whitener held onto the lead with O’Neal closely tailing him. As they approached lap traffic with 22 laps remaining, O’Neal made his move to take the lead with a successful slide job.
As the laps dwindled, O’Neal pulled away, and a late caution for Mark Whitener brought the field back together with five laps to go. On the restart, O’Neal maintained his position, ultimately winning the race at All-Tech Raceway!
