DETROIT LAKES — The competition at Pine to Palm heated up significantly on August 15 as match play advanced into the second round.
Lucas Peterl from Maple Grove, Minnesota, achieved a remarkable hole-in-one on the par-3 Hole 8. Meanwhile, Joe Korton from Moorhead made his mark by continuing his impressive journey in the tournament, earning a spot in Saturday’s matches.
Upcoming Matches
On Saturday, the Senior division will have two tee-offs to finalize the matches. The Mid-Am and Super Senior divisions successfully identified their top four golfers, while the reigning champion in the Legends division is set to compete in the championship match once more.
