MLB All-Star Game Voting Update
As the 95th MLB All-Star Game approaches in just over three weeks, it’s time to review the current status of voting for the Midsummer Classic, particularly as we near the conclusion of Phase 1.
Leading Vote-Getters
Two standout players, Aaron Judge from the Yankees and Shohei Ohtani from the Dodgers, continue to lead in votes for the American League and National League, respectively. This is highlighted in the second update of the 2025 PRO SPIRIT MLB All-Star Ballot.
Automatic Spots for Top Vote-Getters
If Judge and Ohtani maintain their positions at the end of Phase 1 voting, which concludes on Thursday at noon ET, they will automatically secure starting spots for their leagues in the All-Star Game, set for July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta.
Voting Mechanics
Fans can cast their votes up to five times within a 24-hour period at MLB.com, all 30 MLB club websites, and the MLB app as Phase 1 continues.
Current Standings and Close Races
Judge is leading with 2,699,483 votes, being a front-runner to become the top All-Star vote-getter for two consecutive years, a feat last achieved by Alex Rodriguez in 2007-08. Ohtani is closely trailing with 2,521,718 votes, and both are vying for significant positions in their leagues.
Position Battles
In addition to the top vote-getters, the two highest vote recipients for each position and the top six outfielders will move on to Phase 2 starting June 30. Notably, there is a tightly contested race in the AL where Jackson Holliday and José Altuve are only 11,010 votes apart.
Conclusion
This year’s voting has prompted intense competition among players across various positions. The currently leading totals reflect the excitement leading up to the All-Star Game and the dynamic nature of fan engagement in this annual event.
