This article provides an overview of the latest hotfixes for World of Warcraft, including updates for “The War Within,” Mists of Pandaria Classic, the Season of Discovery, WoW Classic Era, and Hardcore. - Corrected an issue with the Ornaments of the Mother Eagle (4) Set Bonus, which often prevented Starsurge from affecting nearby targets.
Creatures and NPCs
- Improved client performance during encounters with Reshanor, the Untethered.
- Addressed an issue where Kelp from Kelpmire would stick around if a player was rooted during the Kelpsplosion! attack.
Dungeons and Raids
- Deaths of players in Mythic+2 and +3 no longer affect the timer or show a death count in objectives.

- Fixed an issue causing Loom’ithar to lose track of players during Piercing Strand if they transformed.
- Resolved incorrect targeting and direction during Piercing Strand.
- Damage reduction effects now correctly affect Piercing Strand damage.

- Araz’s Ritual Forge’s self-damage can no longer critically strike and is unaffected by damage modifiers.
- War Within Season 2 banner toys now display the correct appearance.
- Nexus-King’s Command’s Oath-Bound effect can now be consumed by Word of Glory, Eternal Flame, and Lay on Hands.
- Unyielding Netherprism now splits damage and scales correctly.
Quests
- The number of Flawed Rancors in Maldraxxus for “I Don’t Even Work Here” has been increased.
- More Necrorays are now available in The Oasis for “Dubious Intent.”
Mists of Pandaria Classic
- Items from the Avatar of the August Celestials can now be refunded.
- Guild achievements for Mogu’shan Vaults and Heart of Fear are now achievable on 10-player difficulty.
- August Stone Fragments maximum quantity increased from 55 to 70.

- Correctly cancels prior shapeshift forms when affected by Amber-shaper Un’sok’s Reshape Life.

- Chi Torpedo no longer double damages or heals targets.
