As June begins, it’s time for a series of exciting video game events! Rising from the remnants of E3, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest has emerged as the leading gaming event of the year, slightly overshadowing the December Game Awards. Unlike its predecessor, Summer Game Fest is inclusive, showcasing both major titles from AAA developers and smaller indie games through various livestreams. The 2025 event encompasses 15 individual showcases from June 3-9 — you can check the complete schedule online, and we’re currently in the midst of the programming.
We have a dedicated team on-site in LA, complemented by a larger contingent of writers following the livestreams remotely. Expect previews, interviews, and various reactions in the coming days, with the in-person event running from Saturday to Monday, including a wealth of trailers and release date announcements.
