Apple Stores Offering a Special Pin Today
Beginning April 24, Apple Stores worldwide are distributing a unique pin at no cost to customers who inquire about it, while supplies last.
The enamel pin features a design inspired by the Global Close Your Rings Day award found in the Activity app. Apple Watch users can earn this award by successfully closing all three Activity rings today. This limited-edition pin serves as a tangible representation of that digital achievement.
To claim the pin, you simply need to visit an Apple Store and ask a staff member about it. It’s worth noting that we received the pin even without having our Activity rings closed for the day, indicating that this may not be a strict requirement; however, experiences may vary.
As Apple has stated that the pin’s availability is limited to stock on hand, be aware that some locations might run out quickly.
In a press release, Apple mentioned:
To honor Global Close Your Rings Day, customers can grab a special pin inspired by the award. These pins will be available at Apple Store locations globally starting April 24, while supplies last.
Significantly, the first Apple Watch was released a decade ago on April 24, 2015, making this pin a small keepsake to celebrate that anniversary.
Regarding the 10-year milestone, Apple Watch head Jeff Williams remarked:
The Apple Watch has transformed how users monitor and engage with their fitness and health. Ten years ago, we launched the Activity rings feature, and since then, Apple Watch has expanded to provide a range of capabilities that empower users. We receive daily accounts from customers about how the Apple Watch has positively influenced their lives, motivating them to be more active and impacting their overall health.
If you receive the pin, feel free to share your photos in our forums.
