West Ham United was notably active in the Premier League’s January 2026 transfer window.
While fans may have mixed feelings about the specific deals West Ham United executed during this transfer period, the club did manage to secure new players.
In total, four new signings were made, with three joining the first team. A potential addition, Axel Disasi, could follow.
Pablo Felipe
The transfer window kicked off with a significant move as West Ham acquired Pablo Felipe from Gil Vicente for a reported fee of £17.5 million.
Pablo has already caught the attention of West Ham fans, but it remains to be seen if he can deliver the goals needed to ensure the team’s Premier League survival this season.
Upon joining, he expressed his commitment: “I am very happy. I will give my all for this Club, leaving everything on the pitch with my dedication.”
Taty Castellanos
Shortly after, Taty Castellanos was signed from Lazio for around £27 million. The Argentine striker scored a crucial goal in the FA Cup but has since struggled with consistency.
Castellanos stated, “Every match is a battle, and I’m here to contribute my energy and fighting spirit.”
Keiber Lamadrid
Keiber Lamadrid joined the Hammers on loan from Deportivo La Guaira, with an option to make the deal permanent in the future.
As a Venezuelan international, he may not be expected to impact the first team immediately, which could leave some fans feeling less excited.
Adama Traore
Lastly, Adama Traore joined from Fulham for approximately £2 million, having collaborated previously with manager Nuno at Wolves. Though his star may have dimmed, Nuno sees potential in him to assist the club’s survival campaign.
Traore, reflecting on his move, said, “I’m so happy to be here and show my quality. The goal is to improve and help the team every match.”
