Out with the Old, In with the New
Featherweight sensation Kevin Vallejos has made his mark by entering the Top 10 rankings at 145 pounds, following his impressive victory over seasoned veteran Josh Emmett during the UFC Vegas 114 event last weekend in Las Vegas. With this win, Vallejos claims the No. 10 ranking, pushing former title challenger Brian Ortega down the list, while Emmett falls four spots to No. 15.
Additionally, Gillian Robertson has entered the strawweight Top 5 after her victory against Amanda Lemos, further reshaping the elite ranks of the division.
The rankings are determined through a voting process involving a panel of media members. They assess the fighters based on their performances, voting by weight class and overall talent. Only active UFC fighters are eligible for these votes, and a fighter may be recognized in multiple weight classes. Champions and interim champions are positioned at the top of their divisions and are excluded from regular weight class voting but can appear in pound-for-pound discussions.
Latest rankings are available at UFC.com. Movement in the rankings is indicated as (+/-), while asterisks denote fighters who were not previously ranked.
