Trackman’s Impact on the Golf Industry
For two decades, Trackman has established itself as the premier sports technology in golf. “Our commitment to innovation and the aim to enhance golf through technology align perfectly with this partnership,” stated Ross Hallett, LIV Golf’s Executive Vice President and Head of Events. “Trackman’s influence on our broadcast analytics last year significantly improved the insights available to our audience, whether they are watching LIV Golf on television across various international platforms, using LIV Golf+, or enjoying the action on hospitality suite screens and the course itself. Engaging LIV Golf fans directly with Trackman’s data will deepen their connection to the sport, appealing to both new and loyal golfers. We are excited to expand this partnership throughout our 14 events and to make golf more accessible globally.”
Trackman’s Innovative Approach
“At Trackman, we recognize that dedicated golf fans and professionals seek the best data to enhance their performance,” said Klaus Eldrup-Jørgensen, CEO and co-founder of Trackman. “We continually innovate across our products, global driving ranges, and virtual platforms. Integrating Trackman technology into LIV Golf events empowers players with real-time insights, enhancing their ability to optimize their swings. By featuring this data in the pre-show broadcasts, we can bring LIV Golf fans worldwide closer to the action and enhance accessibility to golf beyond the course.”
The “Little Magic Orange Box”
The renowned “little magic orange box,” which is favored by more professional golfers than any other technology, captures every aspect of club and ball trajectory with exceptional accuracy. This technology tracks every shot at LIV Golf events, providing fans with closer engagement with the action. With over 70,000 Trackman-powered setups worldwide, golfers can connect through performance and competitions, measuring 150 shots per second to help millions improve faster. Today, Trackman is not just analyzing shots on tour; it’s revolutionizing the way golf is played, practiced, and experienced.
Enhanced Data Tracking This Season
This year, Trackman significantly upgraded LIV Golf’s data tracking focusing on drives, swing speeds, and shot carries. Notably, a 455-yard drive from Caleb Surratt of Legion XIII in Mexico City claimed the season’s longest drive, while Joaquin Niemann from Torque GC set the record for the longest drive during LIV Golf’s American events at 440 yards. Bryson DeChambeau led the league with an average carry of 312.5 yards, and Josele Ballester of Fireballs GC showcased the fastest swing speed at 133.4 mph. Jon Rahm, the two-time Individual Champion, recorded an average carry of 297.9 yards with a longest drive of 399.7 yards and an average clubhead speed of 120.7 mph.
Innovative Closest-to-the-Pin Competition
During LIV Golf Andalucia 2025, Trackman collaborated with Majesticks GC to launch the world’s largest closest-to-the-pin contest: “Majesticks Versus the World.” Participants used a Trackman simulator or Range from June 23 to July 9, 2025, to attempt landing their ball closest to the pin on the iconic 6th hole at Real Club Valderrama. These shots were ranked in real-time against four Majesticks GC players teeing off at the same location from July 11-13. The event attracted 9,500 participants from 74 countries, with winners from three categories: Trackman simulators, Trackman Ranges, and one Junior winner aged 13-18. Following this success, Trackman plans to partner with LIV Golf teams for similar events in the 2026 season.
Trackman’s Commitment to Data Solutions
Since its establishment in 2003, Trackman has been a leader in delivering reliable performance data solutions through its innovative radar-based technology.
