As an assistant wide receivers coach in 2021, Holz played a critical role in Hunter Renfrow receiving Pro Bowl recognition after achieving career-best numbers, including 103 receptions for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns. The Raiders’ passing offense ranked sixth in the league, averaging 268.6 yards per game.

As an assistant quarterbacks coach, Holz aided Andrew Luck in earning first-team All-American honors and being a two-time Heisman Trophy runner-up.
Early Coaching Career and Personal Background
Holz began his coaching career at Nebraska in 2007 as an offensive quality control coach before moving on to the Raiders. A three-year letter winner as a wide receiver at the University of Colorado, he received the Regiment Award for his contributions, graduating with a degree in communications. A California native, he attended De La Salle High School, where he was part of a historic winning streak.
