The 2025 NCAA DI men’s golf championship saw No. 4 Oklahoma State defeat No. 7 Virginia with a score of 4-1, securing their 12th title in the program’s history. This marked the Cowboys’ first national championship win since 2018.
In individual achievements, Ole Miss’ Michael La Sasso won the 2025 NCAA men’s individual title on May 26, becoming only the second golfer from his program to achieve this honor.
The championship took place at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. The teams and individual qualifiers for the championships were revealed on April 30, followed by the announcement of the championship participants after the regional rounds.

Championship Format
The championship involves six regional tournaments that will each host 54 holes to determine the 30 qualifying teams and six individual competitors who will advance to the finals. Following 54 holes of stroke play, the top 15 teams along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team will move on to determine the best eight teams for match-play competition.
