In the wake of the long Memorial Day weekend—a time that often acts as a reset for various media stories—Channing Crowder from The Pivot Podcast publicly apologized for remarks he made about Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend and publicist, Jordon Hudson.
This refreshed the narrative surrounding the interview. Crowder previously claimed that Hudson had “choreographed” the interview. Following his apology, co-host Ryan Clark refuted that claim, while simultaneously providing explanations about the interview that resembled elements of choreography.

However, Clark’s statements ignored several crucial aspects. For instance, why was Hudson included in a 90-minute meeting before the interview? Why was the anticipated exclusive sit-down not released? Clark’s insistence that Hudson exerted no control over the interview implies that Belichick had considerable influence over it, potentially indicating a “contractual agreement” surrounding the interview.
Clark’s statement, “we will not do that at the expense of people who volunteer to give us their time,” raises concerns. While maintaining journalistic integrity is important, it’s unusual for interviewers to coordinate with their subjects before and during interviews, or to seek approval on the final content. This situation lends itself to the impression that Clark may have inadvertently acted as part of Belichick’s public relations team.
In conclusion, the entire affair raises questions. The more Crowder and Clark discuss it, the stranger it becomes. There appears to have been communication regarding the editing and presentation of the interview, possibly tied to a “contractual agreement.” Given the raw footage of Belichick and Hudson together, this clearly calls for an investigation by Pablo Torre Finds Out.
