Siri made its debut on the iPhone 4S in 2011, yet it continues to falter when addressing even the simplest inquiries.
Daring Fireball’s John Gruber recently pointed out a post from a Reddit user who questioned Siri about the current month, only for Siri to reply that it was unable to understand. This has become a common source of frustration for many users, evident in the numerous responses showcasing similar instances of Siri’s ineffectiveness.
Recently, Apple postponed the rollout of a more personalized Siri that was introduced at last year’s WWDC because the features were reported to be unreliable. Given that the current version of Siri is already quite frustrating, it might be wise for Apple to prioritize enhancing its basic functionalities before introducing any new features.
There seems to be an issue, Apple. Please attempt again.
