On September 13-14, 40 teams from the PGA Jr. League across the U.S. participated in the Regional Championships as part of the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship Season, vying for spots in both the 13u and 17u National Championships.

Timby 13u All-Stars Advance to 13u Championship
The Timby 13u All-Stars, representing Timberlin Golf Course in Berlin, Connecticut, emerged victorious under the guidance of Coach Marc Bayram, PGA, and Assistant Coach Brandon Funari, earning a place in the 13u PGA Jr. League Championship at PGA Frisco’s Fields Ranch West in Texas as Team Connecticut.
Starting strong in the Round One stroke play qualifying, the seeding for the semifinals included:
- No. 1 seed at -21: Timby 13u All-Stars
- No. 2 seed at -17: Bally’s Ferry Point 13u All-Stars from Bronx, NY
- No. 3 seed at -10: Bethpage 13u All-Stars from Farmingdale, NY
- No. 4 seed at -7: TnT 13u All-Stars of Timberlin Golf Course and Tashua Knolls Golf Course
In the semifinals, the top seeds faced off, with the Timby All-Stars defeating the TnT All-Stars 8.5-3.5, and the Bethpage All-Stars overcoming the Bally’s Point All-Stars 8.5-3.5. The championship saw Timby triumph over Bethpage 6.5-5.5 to secure the Regional title.
The remaining teams had a chance to compete in a 9-hole scramble shootout, where Lyman Orchards Navy teammates Sam Esposito and John Black claimed victory with a score of 31.

Birdie Bandits 13u All-Stars Secure Spot in the 13u PGA Jr. League Championship
After facing two weather delays, the Birdie Bandits 1 13u All-Stars clinched the Region 9 title, narrowly defeating the Greater Siouxland 13u All-Stars 6.5-5.5. They will represent Kansas in the championship in November.
Guided by PGA Professional Sean Cleary and Assistant Coach Matt Foland, the team finished the stroke play qualifying with a score of -7, securing the No. 2 seed. The remaining seeds included:
- No. 1 seed at -14: Greater Siouxland 13u All-Stars
- No. 3 seed at -6: Hallbrook Hackers 13u All-Stars
- No. 4 seed at -5: Eastern Nebraska Team 1 13u All-Stars
Region 9 17u Title
Ridge KC 17u All-Stars Win Region 9 Title
The Ridge KC 17u All-Stars secured their title with a 7.5-4.5 victory over the Mission Hills Country Club 17u All-Stars, earning them a place in the PGA Jr. League 17u Championship.
Under the leadership of Coach Courtney Mahon and Assistant Coach Molly Stanley, the Ridge KC team finished stroke play qualifying with an impressive -27. The other semifinal seeds were:
- No. 2 seed at -25: Mission Hills Country Club 17u All-Stars
- No. 3 seed at -24: Hallbrook Hackers 17u All-Stars
- No. 4 seed at -13: KC Falcon Ridge 17u All-Stars
Final Shootout
Teams that did not advance to the semifinals participated in a 9-hole scramble shootout. The Hill’s Sam Newstrom and Nathan Benkis claimed victory with a score of 35, while The Ridge’s Abraham Hanson and Jake Lane were runners-up.
