Upcoming Early Access for Starsand Island
The anime-inspired life and farming simulation game Starsand Island is set to enter Early Access for PC on Steam and Game Preview on Xbox Series on February 11. A full launch is scheduled for summer on PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC. This marks a shift from the initial plan of a February 1 full release.
Purpose of Early Access
Seed Sparkle Lab has indicated that the Early Access phase will be crucial for refining content and enhancing the end-game experience before the official release. A multiplayer mode will be introduced later in the full version.
Early Access Editions
Starsand Island will be available in two editions during Early Access:
- Standard Edition – This includes the base game and Early Access content. Buyers during the launch period will receive an exclusive Chinese New Year bonus featuring decorative outfits and furniture inspired by traditional Chinese designs.
- Deluxe Edition – Offering everything in the Standard Edition, this edition adds Romanticism-inspired content, featuring elegant outfits and fantasy-themed furniture for a more enriched island life from day one.
Community Engagement
According to the development team, the Early Access phase is vital for community engagement. They aim to gather player feedback to enhance stability, expand content, and improve the game’s ecosystem focused on coexistence.
Core Gameplay Features
During Early Access, players will have access to various key gameplay elements designed to provide a calming and creative pastoral experience. The game is expected to offer over 100 hours of gameplay, focusing on activities like ranching, farming, exploration, fishing, and crafting for a comprehensive life simulation experience.
