Hunters,
Your feedback on the Events is crucial, and we appreciate everyone who has participated in our surveys. Your insights play a significant role in shaping the future of Hunt: Showdown 1896. Stay tuned for future survey opportunities!
We’ve taken note of your concerns regarding the limited availability of these surveys. Starting with the next Event, they will be accessible for an extended period. Additionally, we are working to ensure that our surveys reach Russian and Chinese players who currently cannot participate. We’re also aiming to offer multilingual options for those who may not be comfortable with English, which we hope to implement later this year.
Event and Battle Pass
The feedback on the Battle Pass for Garden of the Witch was below expectations, with only 47% of players expressing satisfaction. This was lower than previous Events. We want to explain why this happened.
With Update 2.3, our primary focus was on bug fixes and performance improvements, which limited our ability to deliver the usual content for Garden of the Witch. While these fixes were necessary, they resulted in a less substantial Event than in the past. We acknowledge the survey results and strive to improve moving forward. The additional resources were directed toward planning future Events, which we look forward to revealing in the coming weeks!
Weekly Challenges
Concerning Event Points, 61% of players felt ‘Satisfied’ or ‘Very Satisfied’ with the rewards from Weekly Challenges. We also gathered your thoughts on your favorite and most frustrating challenges.
Least Frustrating Challenges
- Looting Hunters, Ammo Tools, or Consumables – 1%
- Collecting Clues or Closing Rifts – 1.22%
- Restoring Health for yourself or teammates – 1.2%
Most Frustrating Challenges
- Landing headshots on enemy Hunters with Equipment – 22.4%
- Dealing Damage to enemy Hunters using Traps or Consumables – 29.2%
- Performing Clean Sweeps – 41.2%
Performing Clean Sweeps emerged as the most frustrating task, a point not surprising given the challenge it presents in Bounty Hunt, regardless of skill level. Our goal with these challenges is to create an enjoyable mix of tasks that not only challenge you but also lead to a sense of accomplishment. We’ll continue to monitor feedback and make necessary adjustments later in the year.
Pledge Mark System & Supply Point Rewards
We’re pleased to report that many players appreciate the rewards available at the Rare Supply Point. However, the Dark Sight Boost received less favorable feedback, possibly due to its brief duration or the perception that it should require a Bounty Token. We’ll investigate this further.
When it comes to reward costs, players consider the Full Ammo Restock to be somewhat expensive, while the Full Health Restoration seems fairly priced. This perception may depend on how often players find themselves needing these rewards.
Event Equipment, Traits, and Balance Changes
The feedback on the equipment provided during this Event was mainly neutral to negative. We understand that it didn’t resonate well with players and are committed to addressing these issues in forthcoming updates.
Regarding Traits, players found that Corpse Seer and Gunrunner appeared more powerful than Blademancer, with half of the respondents feeling Blademancer was average. We’re glad most balance changes were positively received, and we will provide more details about the impacts of these changes in an upcoming Dev Diary.
We appreciate your participation in the surveys! Your feedback is invaluable in influencing future updates and features that we hope you’ll enjoy. Keep an eye out on our social media for the announcement of the upcoming Event!
