“Oh my God! You’re really annoying me. Just stop, it’s not cute. You’re distracting me,” Hilaria expresses to Alec during a viral interview moment that’s sparked a social media discussion.
Well… that was a bit uncomfortable.
Things got somewhat tense between Hilaria and Alec Baldwin last week while discussing their TLC series, The Baldwins.
The couple was speaking to Extra during the grand re-opening of Planet Hollywood in New York City when Hilaria became irritated with her husband.
In a clip of the interview shared on TikTok, they were asked about the possible second season of their reality show The Baldwins.
After Alec humorously referred to it as “The Hilaria Show,” Hilaria interjected, reiterating, “No, we’re going to see how it feels to be out there.”
“It’s going to be great. You’re a winner,” Alec responded affectionately, leading Hilaria to retort, “Oh my God. When I’m speaking, you’re not supposed to speak.”
Amid attempts to lighten the moment, Hilaria asserted, “No, what I meant was this is a very genuine show where we’ve taken many chances and we’ll see where it goes.”
The exchange, intended to be humorous, turned slightly tense as Hilaria corrected Alec while the interviewer downplayed the incident, but many viewers criticized the interaction, labeling it “horrible” and “abusive.”
While neither Hilaria nor Alec have publicly commented on the clip, Hilaria shared images from their evening, celebrating the opening night at Planet Hollywood in Times Square.
The Baldwins airs Sundays at 10:00 p.m. ET on TLC.
