NASHVILLE – Taylor Zarzour Joins the Titans as New Play-by-Play Announcer
Last August, Taylor Zarzour was in Knoxville for the opening game of the University of Tennessee’s season against Chattanooga, serving as the play-by-play announcer for SEC Network. During a break, he received a text from Mike Keith, the long-time Voice of the Titans, praising him and the broadcast crew for their work during a dominating 69-3 victory.
Fast forward to last week, and Zarzour found himself on the phone with Keith, who has now taken on the play-by-play role for the Vols in Knoxville. Keith was once again extending his congratulations to Zarzour and encouraging him as he transitions into his new position with the Tennessee Titans.
Zarzour was officially named the Titans’ new play-by-play announcer on Monday, succeeding Keith in the role.
“People often say this when they get a job they’re passionate about, but this really feels like a dream come true and an incredible opportunity,” Zarzour shared. “Being the voice of a team in a city my wife and I have always wanted to live in is unbelievable, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Along with his role as the team’s play-by-play announcer, Zarzour will also host the “Brian Callahan Show” radio program and “Titans Football with Brian Callahan” television show, among other interviews and events. Details about the complete Titans broadcast team for 2025 will be announced soon.
This marks a return to Nashville for Zarzour, who co-hosted the “Morning Sports Page” on Sports Radio 560 in the city 24 years ago before heading back to Mobile, where he was the Program Director and Afternoon Host for Sports Radio 105.5 WNSP. Zarzour began his broadcast career as a sports reporter for WEAR TV in Pensacola, Fla.
SEC fans recognize Zarzour from his role as commentator for SEC Network’s Saturday college football broadcasts. After joining ESPN in 2015, he has also called college baseball games, works with SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, and covers major golf championships. He is involved with The Masters tournament this week as well.
