Every week, NJ Advance Media will spotlight the top individual boys tennis players in the state by naming Players of the Week from each conference.
Players are selected based on matches played and tournaments completed reported on njschoolsports.com from April 9 to April 15.
Matches that took place on April 16 will be considered for next week’s selections.

Below are the latest Boys Tennis Players of the Week.
Burlington County Scholastic Conference
Connor McCann, Palmyra, Sr.
McCann has been an important player for Palmyra this season, beginning the year with two victories at third singles. Recently, he has played four times at second singles, winning three consecutive matches. Last week, he secured wins against Nottingham (6-4, 6-3), Audubon (6-3, 6-1), and Pemberton (6-3, 6-1), helping Palmyra to a 4-2 record this spring.
Big North Conference
Thomas MacDougall, Don Bosco Prep, Sr.
MacDougall improved to 4-0 this season at first singles thanks to two recent victories. He easily won his match against Passaic Tech (6-0, 6-1), followed by a notable tiebreaker win against Mahwah’s Jack Bogert (6-3, 4-6, (10-7)).
Cape-Atlantic League
Saketh Agava, Mainland, Sr.
A cross-country runner as well, Agava has a perfect 8-0 record at first singles, not losing a set this season. This past week, he won decisively against Middle Township (6-2, 6-0), Ocean City (6-1, 6-0), and Millville (6-1, 6-0). The Mustangs hold an overall record of 8-0 and 6-0 in American division matches.
Colonial Conference
Ben Mazzucco, Haddon Heights, Sr.
Mazzucco has had a strong season at first singles for Haddon Heights, boasting a 5-1 record. He secured two wins this week against Woodstown (6-3, 6-2) and Sterling (6-1, 6-0). His only defeat was against Haddon Township’s Christian Erhardt, a standout player in South Jersey.
Colonial Valley Conference
Maahir Chadha, Hightstown, Sr.
Chadha is off to a solid start for the Rams, with a record of 4-1 at second singles and 1-0 at first singles, where he earned a win this past weekend at the Moorestown Classic. This week, he also won at second singles against Allentown’s Aryan Kahanna (3-6, 6-0, (10-6)) and Zev Smith from Moorestown Friends (5-7, 6-1, (10-1)).
