After being defeated by Daniel Altmaier in the second round, Tsitsipas disclosed that he re-aggravated a lingering back injury he had been facing for several months.
Tsitsipas was uncertain about his ability to participate in Greece’s upcoming Davis Cup match against Brazil.
Tsitsipas Confirms Fitness for Davis Cup Matches
Tsitsipas is set to play three of the five matches after recovering from his injury. He expressed his eagerness to take the court and compete for Greece. He mentioned, “I believe I’m ready for three games. I want to be given the opportunity to play as much as possible at this stage.”
