The 2025 New Jersey high school boys tennis season has seen more than a month of play.
Despite some strong teams facing defeats this spring, 19 teams from 12 conferences remain undefeated as we head into May.
Here’s the list of those teams.

Top Unbeaten Teams
Christian Brothers (13-0)
Christian Brothers started its season on April 9 but quickly made an impact, securing 12 victories. The Colts have achieved several notable road wins over teams such as Cherokee, Glen Ridge, Wayne Hills, St. Peter’s Prep, and Holmdel, as well as home wins against Edison, Haddonfield, and Rumson-Fair Haven. Highlighting their performance, sophomore Vincenzo Caruso, currently 11-0 in first singles, has dropped only three games. Other contributors include Luke Brennan and Ari Macaluso in second and third singles, and successful doubles teams Dylan Cuneo/Julian Voorhees and Teddy Peredina/Sterling Porter.
West Windsor-Plainsboro South (13-0)
Ranked No. 1 by NJ.com, West Windsor-Plainsboro South boasts a 13-0 record. The Pirates have won multiple tournaments, including the Bryan Bennett Memorial and the Colonial Valley Conference Tournament, defeating ranked teams like Pingry and Montgomery along the way. Key players include the undefeated second doubles team Rohit Datta/Rishabh Shekdar and first doubles Rohan Ramachandran/Shriyan Kumar, as well as third singles Shritan Gopu.
Haddon Township (12-0)
Haddon Township, four-time sectional champions, continues to excel with an 11-0 record and a perfect 3-0 in the Colonial Conference – Liberty division. Strong performances against teams such as Clearview, Cumberland, and Delsea have solidified their status. Key players include undefeated singles competitors Alexander Noone, Colin Engelbert, and second doubles Declan Mennuti/Nathan Keating.
Newark Academy (12-0)
Now guided by interim head coach Eleni Dakos, Newark Academy remains unbeaten with a roster of skilled players. Recently, they won the Essex County Tournament, defeating Montclair Kimberley and Millburn. Undefeated doubles team Aadit Shrivastava and Kaan Ozsahin captured the ECT title. The depth of Newark Academy’s lineup sets it apart from many teams.
Bergen Catholic (11-0)
Bergen Catholic has showcased its strength against teams from both coasts. After victories against Mahwah and Pascack Valley, the Crusaders also claimed three wins during their spring break in California. Key players include transfer Steven Komoto and the doubles pair Dan/Brian Song, both contributing to their undefeated streak.
Pennsville (10-0)
Leading the Tri-County Conference – Classic division, Pennsville stands at 10-0 and has maintained a perfect division record, outpacing competitors with dominant scores of 5-0 and 4-1 in several matches. Stellar performances from singles players Gabe Schneider, Maddox Efelis, and Brody Wiggins have made significant contributions to their success.
