Respawn has officially announced the complete patch details for Apex Legends Season 26, named Showdown, set to launch on August 5.
This season highlights a new permanent game mode, Wildcard, along with reworks for Bangalore and Caustic. While there is no new Legend, players will see a revamped version of the RE-45 weapon.

Legend Updates
Alongside some updates for Controllers, changes have been made to Bangalore and Caustic. Both characters are making a return to the meta with exciting new abilities.
Caustic
Caustic’s Nox Gas is now more lethal than ever. With the updates, the gas provides reliable area control, while his new Field Research perk allows for multiple upgrades to be unlocked simultaneously.
Bangalore
The new upgrade tree grants Bangalore increased flexibility, allowing her to effectively counter entrenched foes with new breaching mechanics.
Gameplay Additions
Season 26 introduces significant gameplay changes. Three notable additions include Elite Weapons from Ballistic’s stash, Legend Amps available in both Unranked and Ranked modes, and Locked Hop-Ups that will be pre-equipped to their respective weapons during matches.
