SPOILER ALERT: Details follow for Season 14, Episode 12 of “The Masked Singer,” “Finals,” which aired March 25 on Fox.
Winner: Galaxy Girl
Ashlee Simpson was unveiled as Galaxy Girl and crowned champion of Season 14 on the finale of “The Masked Singer.” In addition to Simpson, Phillip Phillips was revealed as Pugcasso, Kylie Cantrall as Cat Witch, and Normani as Crane in this exciting episode.
Simpson’s victory came after her performances of “Good 4 U” by Olivia Rodrigo and “Try” by Pink. The judges—Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke, and Ken Jeong—successfully guessed her identity, especially after the appearance of her sister Jessica Simpson on stage.
“Having my sister there for support was wonderful,” Simpson shared with Variety. “Participating in the show allowed me to rediscover my passion for performing and brought me joy. It’s encouraging to receive such love from the audience and to be back on stage.”
Second and Third Places
Phillip Phillips secured second place by performing “True Colors” and “Sussudio.” While McCarthy-Wahlberg guessed correctly, the other judges had varied guesses, including Chris Allen and Justin Guarini. Cantrall was unmasked as Cat Witch in third place, singing “Leave (Get Out)” and “Greedy,” with Ora and McCarthy-Wahlberg correctly identifying her.
Fourth Place: Crane
Normani, as Crane, opened the night with a performance of “Together Again.” Judges were mostly aligned with Ora correctly identifying her while Jeong guessed Kelly Rowland. Simpson remarked on the experience as deeply healing, reflecting on her journey through fame and personal challenges.
