“This guy next to me got me here,” Valdes-Scantling said, referencing Rodgers. “He’s been wanting me to join him since our time in Green Bay.” During a media session, Valdes-Scantling cheekily asked Rodgers about his excitement to have him back.

Valdes-Scantling played alongside Rodgers for four seasons with the Green Bay Packers, during which he caught 13 touchdown passes.
