Curry and Porzingis’ Availability
Krisptas Porzingis and Steph Curry have yet to play together, and it remains uncertain when that will happen.
Injury Updates
Curry is sidelined for the last 10 games due to runner’s knee and will miss five more. The Warriors announced he will be reevaluated in another 10 days, extending what was initially thought to be a minor issue.
Porzingis’ Struggles
Since joining the Warriors, Porzingis has participated in only 17 out of 384 available minutes. He will miss his fifth consecutive game on Monday due to an illness that has left head coach Steve Kerr perplexed.
Uncertainty with Porzingis
The Warriors (31-29) hope Curry will return in time for the playoffs, but Porzingis’ future availability is much more uncertain. Many teams have acquired him in hopes of maximizing his talents, yet keeping him healthy has been a challenge.
Medical Challenges
In an attempt to reassure the team, Kerr remarked on Porzingis’ health status with generalities after seeking clarity from the Hawks’ GM about misinformation regarding Porzingis’ condition.
Future Prospects
Both players remain critical for the Warriors’ success, but with their current health uncertainty, relying on them for a playoff push feels risky. The Warriors, recognizing this risk/reward scenario, are focused on keeping them prepared for the ongoing season.
