We’re now at the quarterfinals stage of the WTA Indian Wells. If you’ve been following Last Word On Sports’ best bets columns for women’s tennis, you likely profited significantly in the previous round. Out of the eight matches I highlighted, only two did not yield returns. This means 75% of my bets were successful over the last two days, with five of them offering returns of 2.0 or greater and one delivering 3.5x the stake. Although I usually refrain from boasting, this is definitely worth celebrating. Please share in the comments if any of you profited from my predictions over the past two days, including the match and your returns.
WTA Indian Wells
Pegula vs Rybakina: Time 10:00
Head-to-Head: 3-4
Jessica Pegula and Elena Rybakina are set to reignite their rivalry in the quarterfinals. They previously faced off a few months ago at the WTA Australian Open semi-finals, where Rybakina prevailed in straight sets, although the second set was closely contested, going to a tiebreak. Rybakina has triumphantly taken the last three encounters, with Pegula’s last win dating back to 2023.
Recommended Bet
The bookmakers favor Rybakina, and I agree. She has claimed victory in three of the last four matches, with notable semifinal wins recently. Betting on Rybakina to win 2:0 at 2.38 on bet365 seems wise, especially since only two of their previous seven clashes have reached a third set.
Value Bet: Rybakina winning 2:0 @2.38 on bet365
Svitolina vs Swiatek: Time 10:00
Head-to-Head: 1-4
Elina Svitolina will be competing against Iga Swiatek for the sixth occasion in their careers. Svitolina has only managed to secure one victory against Swiatek, which came during the 2023 Wimbledon quarterfinals. This will be their third meeting on hardcourts.
Recommended Bet
Bookmakers exhibit strong confidence in Swiatek, with current odds averaging 3.4-1.3 in her favor. Despite Svitolina’s recent successes, Swiatek has demonstrated her ability to win at this venue against this rival. Betting on Swiatek to win 2:0 at 1.86 on 1xBet appears to be the best route, especially given that only one of their matches has gone to a third set.
Value Bet: Swiatek winning 2:0 @1.86 on 1xBet
Noskova vs Gibson: Time 10:00
Head-to-Head: 0-0
Linda Noskova and Talia Gibson will meet for the first time in the quarterfinals. Gibson showcased her talent in the previous round, and repeating that performance will be vital for her success. However, it raises the question of whether she can maintain this level of intensity for the number of days she’s been competing.
Recommended Bet
Noskova is listed as the clear favorite with odds averaging 3.5-1.3. While she hasn’t impressed me throughout the year, I’m inclined to bet on her to claim this match; however, she needs to deliver convincingly. Choose Noskova to win 2:0 at 1.84 on 1xBet.
Value Bet: Noskova winning 2:0 @1.84 on 1xBet
Sabalenka vs Mboko: Time 10:00
Head-to-Head: 1-0
Aryna Sabalenka will face Victoria Mboko for the second time in 2026. Their first encounter occurred in the round of 16 at the Australian Open, which Sabalenka won comfortably. Regardless of the level she faces, Mboko consistently finds ways to advance deep into tournaments.
Recommended Bet
While I’m tempted to support Mboko, Sabalenka is the more solid choice for this matchup. I expect a similar outcome to their last meeting, with Sabalenka winning decisively. Bet on Sabalenka to win 2:0 at 1.78 on 1xBet.
Value Bet: Sabalenka winning 2:0 @1.78 on 1xBet
