2025 DI Men’s Golf Championship Schedule
How the Championship is Structured
A total of six regional tournaments consisting of 54 holes will determine which 30 teams and six individual players (not part of those teams) qualify for the finals. Three regionals will host 13 teams and 10 individuals, while the remaining three will have 14 teams and five individuals. The lowest five teams and the lowest individual not on an advancing team will proceed to the finals.
All qualifying teams and individuals will play through 54 holes of stroke play. After this stage, the top 15 teams and the top nine individual players not on advancing teams will go on to an additional stroke play day to determine the top eight teams for match play and the individual champion over 72 holes. The top eight teams will then enter a bracket.
In the match play format, teams compete for a total of five points, with one point for each match. To advance, a team must win three points. The team that wins the final match will be crowned national champion.
