Upcoming AMA Hall of Fame Days
The AMA Induction Ceremony will launch the AMA Hall of Fame Days, scheduled for October 23-26. This event will feature an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Night and an open house at the AMA Hall of Fame Museum on Saturday, October 25. The induction ceremony will occur at the Violet Township Event Center, just under a mile from AMA headquarters, on Thursday, October 23, followed by a cocktail reception at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.
Selection Criteria for Inductees
Inductees into the Hall of Fame are chosen based on eight areas of influence: Ambassadors & Industry, Design & Engineering, Dirt Track, Leadership & Motorcycle Rights, Motocross & Supercross, Off-Road, Road Racing, and Specialty Competition.

Profile of Hall of Fame Inductees
Dana Bell, who became a nationally ranked enduro competitor within a decade of her start in the motorcycling community, transitioned to focusing on rights issues between 1992 and 1999. She served as the Western States Representative for the AMA’s Government Relations Department and was recognized with the AMA Motorcycling Advocate Award for her significant contributions to motorcyclists’ rights.
Contributions of Industry Leaders
Chris Carter, founder of Motion Pro Inc., has contributed significantly to specialty-tool design with over 30 patents. His company sponsors various racers and charitable organizations. Colin Edwards, an iconic figure in road racing known as the “Texas Tornado,” captured multiple championships, including the 2000 and 2002 World Superbike titles. Joe Kopp made his mark in Flat Track racing by winning the 2000 AMA Grand National Championship, while Chad Reed excelled in AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross for nearly two decades. Ryan Young made substantial contributions to the trials sport, earning U.S. national titles and educating newcomers through his company.
