LIV GOLF INDIANAPOLIS ROUND 2 NOTES
PROJECTIONS FOLLOWING RD. 2
The conclusion of LIV Golf Indianapolis will determine the Individual Championship and player Zone statuses. Below are the current projections following Saturday’s rounds:
INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Joaquin Niemann recorded a score of 66, placing him tied for third at 12 under, while Jon Rahm is in a tie for 9th at 11 under with a score of 64. Niemann is projected to secure an 18.77 point lead.
THIRD POSITION
Crushers GC Captain Bryson DeChambeau, who was in a qualifying position for bonuses, remains there after carding a 68, moving to 7 under. Torque GC’s Sebastián Muñoz, who shared the lead, started the week in seventh and cannot surpass DeChambeau. 4Aces GC Captain Patrick Reed, tied for third, still has winning potential.
LOCK ZONE
4Aces Captain Dustin Johnson (28 to 11) is the only athlete projected to enter the Lock Zone, sharing the lead. Meanwhile, HyFlyers GC Captain Phil Mickelson (22 to 25) is projected to drop, currently tied for 35th at 3 under.
POTENTIAL FOR TORQUE
With Sebastián Muñoz co-leading the competition and Joaquin Niemann in close pursuit for the Individual Championship, Torque GC might celebrate a historic triple victory this Sunday. It’s been 28 events since Torque last claimed a title, and if Muñoz wins, he will be the third Torque player to earn an individual trophy.
