Additionally, viewers can also participate in watch-along events on select matchdays via the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel.
Overview of the Baller League
The Baller League is an indoor six-a-side football competition that originated in Germany, founded by entrepreneur Felix Starck, with support from football stars Mats Hummels and Lukas Podolski. The league, featuring influencers led by KSI in the UK version, includes 12 teams made up of former Premier League players, futsal athletes, and celebrities, competing over 11 weeks to reach the finals.
Format and Rules
Each of the 12 teams comprises a squad of 12 players, selected during a draft. Matches consist of two 15-minute halves with no corners — if the ball goes out of play behind the goal three times, a penalty is awarded. Special ‘gamechanger’ rules apply during the last three minutes of each half, introducing a 3 vs 3 format and doubling long-range goals scored from behind a specific line.
New Participants and Managers
This season features fresh teams like Chloe Kelly’s Clutch FC, Idris Elba’s Rukkas FC, and Niko Omilana’s NDL FC. Former England striker Daniel Sturridge has joined Micah Richards to manage Deportrio FC, while returning figures include John Terry and several celebrities.
