It’s uncertain if he would opt for a complimentary stay at Four Seasons, the luxury hotel chain he’s referred to as both “home” and “set” for the past few years.

In particular, Sicily offers a competitive tax incentive of up to 50% reimbursement of costs associated with production. Additionally, producer Dave Bernad noted that they initially considered shooting in Southern France but chose Italy after HBO encouraged them to explore the incentives offered by the Four Seasons in Taormina, Sicily.
Potential Locations Outside of Traditional Spaces
If a new environment is sought, Norway could be a potential locale, albeit without the Four Seasons presence. The creators previously considered filming in Norway but ultimately chose Thailand instead. On the other hand, Cosinteno believes that switching to a city hotel would be contrary to White’s established vision for the series, suggesting that, while a beachfront location is preferred, they must avoid crashing waves in the narrative’s direction.

While Cosinteno believes a shift to a location like Punta Mita in Mexico or the Four Seasons Anguilla could work, he also acknowledges the allure of U.S. locations like Palm Beach or Surf Club in Florida.
