MLB Announces 2025 Postseason Schedule
The schedule for the 2025 MLB Postseason has been officially released, with the Wild Card Series slated to commence on Tuesday, September 30th, airing on ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2. The first game of the World Series, sponsored by Capital One, is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 24th, hosted by the League Champion that achieved the best regular season record in 2025.
Division Series Details
All four Division Series, presented by Booking.com, will kick off on Saturday, October 4th. The Division Series will continue through Saturday, October 11th, potentially stretching to Game Fives on Friday, October 10th (for the American League) and Saturday, October 11th (for the National League). Coverage for the AL Division Series will be provided by FOX, FS1, and FOX Deportes, while TNT Sports will broadcast the NL Division Series on TBS, truTV, and HBO Max.
Championship Series Schedule
The American League Championship Series, presented by loanDepot, is set to start on Sunday, October 12th, with broadcasts on FOX or FS1 and FOX Deportes. The National League Championship Series will commence on Monday, October 13th, airing on TBS, truTV, and HBO Max. If necessary, Game Sevens are scheduled for Monday, October 20th (ALCS) and Tuesday, October 21st (NLCS).
World Series Dates
Should a Game Seven be required to determine the 2025 World Series Champion, it will occur on Saturday, November 1st. There will be off days during the World Series on Sunday, October 26th, and Thursday, October 30th (if a Game Six occurs). This marks the 28th occasion that FOX Sports and FOX Deportes will provide live coverage of the World Series.
Streaming and Radio Coverage
All games broadcast by TNT Sports, FOX, and FS1 will be accessible to MLB.TV subscribers who authenticate with a participating pay TV provider. The Wild Card Series will also be streamed via the ESPN App. ESPN Radio will deliver live national coverage for the entire 2025 MLB Postseason, starting with the Wild Card Series.
