Introduction to the Miami Grand Prix
Formula 1 is making its way back to South Florida for the Miami Grand Prix, set to take place over the weekend of May 2-4. This marks the first of three races in the United States for the season.
2025 Season Details
The Miami event is the sixth round of the 2025 season and will feature the year’s second sprint. Three teams are showcasing exclusive car liveries for this occasion.
Previous Year’s Livery Highlights
Last year, Miami witnessed unique liveries, including Ferrari’s light blue accents celebrating its partnership with HP. Additionally, Racing Bulls featured a vibrant design inspired by the Cash App Visa Chameleon Card, which brought good fortune to driver Yuki Tsunoda, who finished seventh.
Racing Bulls’ New Livery
This year, Racing Bulls and Ferrari return with fresh designs, along with the Kick Sauber team. Racing Bulls has adopted a bold magenta look inspired by the Red Bull Summer Edition White Peach-flavored can, set to launch in the U.S. The new design will be showcased by drivers Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson.
Sauber’s Miami Grand Prix Livery
Sauber was the first to reveal their new design, inspired by Miami’s artistic palette, featuring a neon green shade. Drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto’s suits and team equipment will reflect this theme, emphasizing their commitment to energetic race experiences.
Ferrari’s Special Edition Livery
Ferrari is also debuting an asymmetric livery with blue and white elements to celebrate its collaboration with HP. The new wrap boasts improvements in weight, thermal resistance, and recyclability. Both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will wear matching race suits, aiming to improve their standings after a challenging start to the season.
Mercedes’ Contribution
While not the primary team in focus, Mercedes will feature a special livery on its F1 Academy car, driven by Doriane Pin, complete with pink accents. Unique race suits inspired by Miami’s mangroves will be worn by George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, adding to the spirit of the Miami Grand Prix weekend.
