The anticipation for UFC Vegas 114 is building as fight week arrives. This Saturday, the premier MMA organization in the world continues its Las Vegas event series, marking the second consecutive week of action in Nevada before heading out for UFC Seattle next Saturday.
Live coverage from the Meta Apex kicks off at 5 PM ET / 2 PM PT with prelims, while the main card starts later at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT, coinciding with the day before Selection Sunday for college basketball.
In the U.S., all of Saturday night’s action can be streamed on Paramount Plus. If there are no last-minute changes, the card will feature 14 matches.
Featured Prelim: No. 15 Vitor Petrino vs. Stephen Asplund
Headlining the undercard is a heavyweight bout between No. 15 rankholder Vitor Petrino (13-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) and Stephen Asplund (7-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC). Each fight will consist of three rounds lasting five minutes.
Petrino brings a 3-2 record from his last five fights, riding a two-fight winning streak following a third-round knockout of Thomas Petersen (10-4 MMA, 2-3 UFC) on October 13. Initially set to face Kennedy Nzechukwu (14-6-1 MMA, 8-6-1 UFC), Petrino’s opponent had to withdraw for undisclosed reasons.
Co-Featured Prelim: Brad Tavares vs. Eryk Anders
Before that, the middleweights will clash as Brad Tavares (21-11 MMA, 16-11 UFC) takes on Eryk Anders (17-9, 1 NC MMA, 9-9, 1 NC UFC). Tavares heads into UFC Vegas 114 with a 2-3 record over his last five bouts.
After suffering a knockout loss to Robert Bryczek (18-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in September, Tavares seeks redemption and the chance to break Michael Bisping’s record for most middleweight wins in UFC history with a victory.
UFC Vegas 114: Chris Curtis vs. Myktybek Orolbai
Additionally, the welterweight division will see Chris Curtis (32-12, 1 NC MMA, 6-4, 1 NC UFC) face off against Myktybek Orolbai (15-2-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC). Curtis enters the fight with a mixed record of 2-2 and one no-contest in his last five matches.
Having last fought eight months ago and secured a split decision against Max Griffin (20-12 MMA, 8-10 UFC), Curtis is eager to shake off any ring rust.
