A significant event in the ATP’s Asian circuit, alongside tournaments in Hangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai, past champions include Alexander Zverev, who won in 2023 after a brief break. Other notable winners are Pablo Carreno Busta, Bernard Tomic, Denis Istomin, and Karen Khachanov.
In 2016, Khachanov clinched the title against Albert Ramos Vinolas with a score of 6-7, 7-6, 6-3. Both Tomic and Carreno Busta triumphed in their finals through deciding set tiebreaks. Zverev’s victory replicated the same scoreline as Khachanov’s in earlier years.
Jack Draper leads the list of participants alongside Musetti and Tallon Griekspoor. Despite limited play this summer aside from the upcoming US Open, Draper is eager to gather as many points as possible afterward while preparing for a potential title defense.
Brandon Nakashima is also competing, with the top eight seeds led by Luciano Darderi, Lorenzo Sonego, Cameron Norrie, and Alexandre Muller. Additionally, players like Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, Sebastian Baez, Nuno Borges, and Gael Monfils are in the mix.
Prize Money
Last year, the winner received $178,195, while the runner-up earned $103,950. Given the trend of increasing ATP prize money, it’s anticipated that 2025 will see a further rise.
