JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) distributed leaflets over Gaza late on Wednesday, conveying a stark warning to civilians that “the world map will not change if all the people of Gaza vanish,” as reported by ABC news.
The ominous message urged residents to evacuate “before the implementation of Trump’s forced plan—which will impose your forced displacement whether you like it or not.” It stated a willingness to assist those who comply, saying, “We will not hesitate for a moment to help.”
Alternatively, the leaflet warned Gazans that “No one will feel for you, and no one will ask about you. You are left alone to face your inevitable fate, as neither the US nor Europe cares about Gaza.” The message emphasized that it is almost too late for those who wish to secure their future.
As Israel reoccupies parts of the Netzarim corridor, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced on Wednesday that the evacuation of Gaza’s population would soon recommence. He suggested that residents should consider relocating elsewhere, referencing advice from the President of the United States to return hostages and dismantle Hamas.
Last month, Trump faced backlash for advocating the forced displacement of Palestinians in Gaza amid ongoing violence. Currently, Gazans cannot leave, as the border crossing into Egypt remains shut. The Israeli strategy aims to render Gaza uninhabitable while creating designated “humanitarian zones” for potential voluntary relocations, according to retired Brigadier General Amir Avivi.
Following the suspension of operations, the IDF resumed military actions targeting Hamas. Wednesday saw renewed strikes on Hamas infrastructure, leading to casualties in Gaza, including a UN staff member and several others. The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported ongoing fatalities, highlighting the continued violence in the region.
Despite the halt in fighting over recent weeks, Israel’s renewed offensive has sparked significant protests internally, particularly from families of those still held hostage. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to intensifying military efforts against Hamas, indicating that future negotiations would occur under the pressure of ongoing hostilities.
