‘Swing for the Wish’ Charity Golf Tournament in Roseville Set to Begin
ROSEVILLE, Calif. — It’s time to tee off for a wonderful cause! The 19th Annual “Swing for the Wish” golf charity event is taking place this weekend.
The proceeds from this event will go towards making dreams come true for children involved with Make-A-Wish in Northern California. InterState Oil Company is proud to host this exciting event on August 10, running from 4 to 7 p.m. at Topgolf Roseville.
Since its launch in 2006, the tournament has raised over $700,000 and successfully granted more than 70 wishes, according to Melanie Flood, a representative for InterState Oil Company. Notably, last year’s event alone generated $169,000.
Participants will have the chance to engage in a variety of activities, including live and silent auctions, as well as competitions for categories like Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive.
For those unable to attend, there are still numerous ways to contribute. Individuals can organize their own events, such as golf tournaments or runs, or visit the Make-A-Wish website to explore additional avenues for support.
To join in the fun this Sunday, participants can register via this link.
Your support can truly make a difference in the lives of these children awaiting their wishes!
