Courtney Johnson opened up on social media regarding her audition for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders a decade ago, revealing how missing out on the team led to unexpected career gains.
Now a versatile content creator with nearly half a million followers on Instagram and TikTok, Johnson decided to share her journey following the release of Netflix’s season 2 of America’s Sweethearts.
Before the latest Netflix series, the DCC was previously featured in the show Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team on CMT, which aired from 2006 to 2021, and Johnson participated in it.
In her video, Johnson remarked, “I was on America’s Sweethearts before it was called that.” She noted that old clips of her have resurfaced because of the new Netflix show, prompting followers to inquire about her audition experience.
