Current Hostage Situation:
59 individuals are currently being held captive in Gaza.
Out of these, 35 hostages have been confirmed deceased.
147 hostages have been rescued alive.
49 deceased bodies have also been recovered.
The total number of Israelis killed stands at 1,828, including 413 soldiers and police in Gaza, 87 soldiers in Northern Israel, and 18 in Judea & Samaria. Approximately 30,695 projectiles have been fired at Israel, leading to the displacement of around 50,000 Israelis. Despite this, the nation remains united in prayer, charitable actions, and community support.

- The UAE is mediating between the US and Egypt concerning a relocation plan.
- The IDF is increasingly proactive in arresting stone throwers.
- Three targeted strikes against Hezbollah elements in Lebanon resulted in the elimination of a senior terrorist.
- Iran has responded to Trump’s letter, with indications that the US is prepared for military action against Iran.
- The US has approved a $2 billion military aid package to Qatar.
- A new IDF Spokesperson has been appointed.
Hostage Negotiations:
Suhail al-Hindi, a senior Hamas official, indicated ongoing “serious dialogues” with mediators, expressing hope for a ceasefire and withdrawal of Israeli forces. Reports from News 12 have suggested a potential hostage exchange, where Hamas might release an American hostage in return for a statement from President Trump advocating for renewed negotiations. Israeli officials, however, have stated that no new proposals have been received and reiterated Israel’s commitment only to a previously agreed-upon framework.
Military Operations in Gaza:
The IDF continues its targeted airstrikes against Hamas leadership, despite limited ground operations. One of the key figures, Hamas spokesman Abdel Latif al-Kanoa, has been confirmed dead. In Rafah, a hidden 25-barrel rocket launcher was discovered, and overall, the IDF has reportedly eliminated around 17,000 terrorists in Gaza while hitting 90% of Hamas’s rocket capabilities and demolishing 40% of their tunnel networks.
Counterterrorism in Judea & Samaria:
In the last week, the IDF has conducted multiple counterterrorism operations, arresting 80 wanted suspects and seizing various weapons in Judea and Samaria. They also apprehended three individuals throwing stones at vehicles on Highway 60, indicating a proactive approach to counterterrorism efforts.
Regional Tensions:
A targeted airstrike in Southern Lebanon resulted in the death of a senior Hezbollah battalion commander, Ahmed Adnan in-Jija. The IDF has also engaged in strikes against other Hezbollah operatives violating ceasefire agreements. Meanwhile, the Houthis launched ballistic missiles at central Israel, which were intercepted before reaching their targets. Concurrently, the US is conducting airstrikes against Houthi positions in Yemen, with further diplomatic efforts ongoing to de-escalate tensions.
Iran and Military Developments:
Iran’s Foreign Minister revealed that the country has replied to Trump’s letter regarding nuclear discussions, stating a refusal to negotiate directly while the US maintains its pressure policy. The US has positioned B-2 bombers as a deterrent against Iran, suggesting that military options are on the table. Additionally, a significant military aid package has been approved for Qatar, and the IDF is adapting to drone warfare by introducing specialized technicians within its ranks, as the use of drones has become more integral to military operations.
