On Thursday morning, the Kansas City Chiefs resumed practice at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, marking the third full session of their 2025 training camp.
This practice was the third of 17 scheduled sessions at the team’s facility next to MWSU’s Spratt Stadium. Out of the remaining practices, 13 will be open to the public — click here for details and a complete schedule — with one session exclusive to Season Ticket Members.
Editor-in-chief of Arrowhead Pride, Pete Sweeney, was in attendance and shared insights on social media, starting with observations about the cloudy, cooler weather.
For the third consecutive day, only players on the PUP list were absent from practice.
Pete noted the first and second-string lineups for the offensive linemen and cornerbacks.
Kansas City’s quarterback quickly connected with his primary target, WR Rashee Rice, on two of his first four passes during the 11-on-11 drills.
The next practice is scheduled for Friday at 9:15 a.m. Arrowhead Time, expected to be less intense. As usual, live updates will follow as practice begins. Afterward, defensive backs will be signing autographs, and special teams coordinator Dave Toub will address the media. The team will take a break on Saturday and return on Sunday in full pads.
