Two New Characters
The mode introduces two fresh characters from The Last of Us Part I: Bill and Marlene. Each character brings a distinct playstyle, presenting an exciting chance for both new and returning players to showcase their skills.
- Bill adopts a “Smuggler” playstyle, allowing him to obtain a custom pump shotgun from dead drops while also earning double rewards from these drops. He excels against melee attacks, although he lacks dodging ability.
- Marlene utilizes a “Risk Taker” playstyle equipped with a Custom Assault Rifle. Her abilities include “All or Nothing” gambits and the chance to reroute her path once per run, among others.
Four New Maps
Additionally, four new maps have been integrated into No Return mode:
- Overlook is positioned high above Seattle, featuring significant verticality and was notable during a confrontation with the Seraphites in the campaign.
- School refers to the deserted elementary school where Ellie and Dina contend with the W.L.F. during the campaign.
- Streets is situated in the overgrown neighborhood of Hillcrest, Seattle.
- Nest will be recognized by players who navigated an Infected-infested building with Abby.
