2025 Dirt Late Model Dream Heat Races Scheduled
Following two preliminary events at Eldora Speedway on Friday night, the lineups for Saturday night’s heat races for the 2025 Dirt Late Model Dream have been finalized.
Drivers were grouped into two separate preliminary nights, with one group racing on Thursday and the other on Friday. All preliminary races scheduled for Thursday concluded that night, except for the 50-lap feature, which took place on Friday along with the full slate of Friday’s prelim events.
Participants accumulated points using Eldora’s “Every Lap Matters” system during their time on track, which determined the crucial heat race lineups for Saturday night.
Jonathan Davenport, who scored the most points during preliminary races, faced the “Wheel of Misfortune” after the Friday features. His spin resulted in a four-car inversion for each of the six heat races, affecting the starting positions.
At the bottom of this article, you can find the lineups for all six heat races. The top three finishers from each heat will advance to the $100,000-to-win main event. For those not transferring through the heat races, the two highest point earners will secure the 19th and 20th starting spots. Additionally, two 20-lap B-features will offer the top three finishers spots in the complete 26-car lineup.
Currently, only Jonathan Davenport and Josh Rice have guaranteed spots in the main event starting lineup as they lead the “Every Lap Matters” points standings.
